PoE Injectors
If you want to power a PoE device but dont have a PoE-compatible switch, you can use a PoE injector to send power down the Ethernet cable. Simply plug the PoE injector into the mains, connect the RJ45 IN and RJ45 OUT cables and power will be sent down the cable along with the data.
You can choose to have the PoE injector at the switch end (eg. to have the power adapter in the server cabinet) or plug this in at the device end.
